Kris remodeled a bathroom for us and did an excellent job. The tile work was excellent and he directed us to place where we were able to get a gorgeous counter top fabricated for a very reasonable price. Kris also put in a new front door and installed skylights. Both were finished beautifully. Kris was on-site all the time and provided excellent communication. Project was completed on-time. I would definitely work with Kris again.

They have done an excellent job each and every time. I have recommended them to my family and friends. In addition, their prices were very fair. Kelly-Moore Paints Closes All Stores, Citing Financial Strains from Asbestos Claims
Rohnert Park, California - Kelly-Moore Paints, a prominent paint company with a rich history dating back to 1946, has announced the closure of all its stores, including its Rohnert Park location and manufacturing facility in Texas. This decision affects 61 Bay Area stores, with a significant presence in Sonoma County.The company, once one of the nation's largest paint companies, attributed its closure to financial burdens resulting from thousands of asbestos-related claims. Despite discontinuing the use of asbestos in 1981, the company faced mounting legal and financial challenges stemming from past practices.
Kelly-Moore, acquired by Pleuger Chemicals in 2022, explored various options but found bankruptcy and liquidation unviable due to the substantial costs associated with settling asbestos claims. CEO Charles Gassenheimer expressed his disappointment while acknowledging the dedication of the Kelly-Moore team.
During the wind-down process, the company will prioritize fulfilling existing customer orders from its Union City distribution facility. However, all other facilities will cease operations immediately.
The closure impacts approximately 700 employees across Kelly-Moore's locations, who have been furloughed but will receive full compensation for their work.
