Modular buildings by Temporary 123 can provide an easily convertible and movable building. Temporary construction structures can be rented for various time frames and have an unlimited variety of uses. Some modular buildings are prefabricated while others are constructed on-site.
Temporary 123 will manage, monitor, and track, budgets, and schedules, with complete turnkey service, permitting, rentals, security, and hospitality. We also offer military and deployable assets.
Permanent modular buildings are permanent structures, with the intent of being long-standing structures that are neither moved nor altered. Similar to traditional building construction, the foundation of permanent modular buildings includes poured concrete with rebar and crushed stone. In certain instances, a raised or on-grade foundation can be used.
Semi-permanent modular buildings or semi-permanent structures are buildings that may be intended for longer use but can still be moved. The most common difference between all these types of modular building construction is whether or not the structure has a permanent foundation.
Temporary 123 will manage, monitor, and track, budgets, and schedules, with complete turnkey service, permitting, rentals, security, and hospitality. We also offer military and deployable assets.
Temporary modular buildings and trailers are designed with local building and health department codes in mind.
Our modular buildings are either retrofitted to existing buildings or projects that are specifically designed around health departments and modular building techniques as a turn-key solution from the start. Our field construction crew is able to make adjustments to onsite code inspections in real time.
Types of Modular Construction
Modular construction can be divided into three general applications:
Permanent Modular Construction (PMC) – the erection of permanent modular buildings similar to traditional structures once they are finished. PMC modules can either be retrofitted to existing buildings or designed from the start as a turn-key solution for stand-alone permanent modular buildings.
Temporary 123 will manage, monitor, and track, budgets, and schedules, with complete turnkey service, permitting, rentals, security, and hospitality. We also offer military and deployable assets.
Non-permanent Modular Construction (NPMC) – refers to the use of modular techniques to create modular buildings and structures that are easily relocatable. Such as showrooms, classrooms, offices, or temporary healthcare clinics. Like PMC projects, NPMC buildings are erected in accordance with all local building codes and regulations with the exception they can be relocated and repurposed as needed.
Semi-permanent Structure - refers to the use of coated PVC fabric membrane tensioned on supporting interior poles or a clearspan frame. If used for only 180 days or less it is considered ‘temporary’ and usually will not require fire suppression or energy code requirements.
At Temporary 123 our modular buildings are designed to be relocatable.
Both PMC and NPMC involve the prefabrication of functional building units in a climate-controlled environment. ‘Modules’ or ‘Pods’ are then transported to the site and lifted into place for fitting, fastening, and finishing.
Whether used for permanent or relocatable structures, modular building construction saves time, reduces waste, and creates efficiency for a multitude of building projects spanning a multitude of markets.
